Shawn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), earned his Bachelor of Social Work (BSM) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of South Florida. Shawn has experience working in substance treatment programs, veteran outreach, veteran treatment court, working with elderly population and resilience trainer assistant with the Florida National Guard. As a LCSW, he meets each person where they are at. Focusing on cognitive behavioral techniques to gain insight, challenge distortions and behaviors. Working to improve emotions, building positive coping skills and tools to promote growth.

He has worked with individuals and couples on issues related to:

  • Resiliency

Personally, Shawn served with the 1-14th Golden Dragon Infantry Battalion on active duty, Ohio National Guard and Florida National Guard with deployments to Bosnia, Kosovo, and a homeland security mission in Washington DC with 15 years of service. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, scuba diving, spearfishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and biking.
