Scotty earned his Bachelor of Science Psychology with a minor in Health from Mississippi College (B.S.), and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (M.A.), from Reformed Theological Seminary. He is also a Certified Relationship Coach from the IAP Career College, and a SYMBIS Certified Facilitator (pre-marital coaching).
Scotty has 13+ years of experience in private practice working with men, couples, teens, individuals, and families on personal, spiritual, mental and emotional growth and healing. He is passionate about seeing people experience transformative life change, and be equipped to face the challenges of life and relationships with hope and confidence.
As a Life and Relationship Coach, he helps each client openly assess presenting issues and develop clear, specific goals with concrete actions related to common issues such as:

Originally from Mississippi, Scotty has been married to his wife since 1997, and has three children, with the oldest in college. He's run five marathons and played soccer in six different countries while on mission trips. He loves watching his kids play sports, grilling at Friday night high school football games, coaching and playing soccer, spending time with his family, running with his dog, fresh water fishing, and deer hunting.
Note: As a Christ follower, Scotty believes faith is a key part of life and healing, but Christian-based coaching is optional and will be left up to each client to utilize in the coaching process or not.
