Dr. Rebecca Presley is a dedicated professional with an impressive background in psychology and educational leadership, deeply committed to trauma-informed care and women's empowerment. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, followed by a Master of Science in General Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. Dr. Presley further advanced her expertise with a Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership from Baker University in Kansas.
With over two decades of experience as a school psychologist, Dr. Presley has profoundly impacted the lives of children and families, addressing various age groups and their unique needs. Her passion for supporting children affected by trauma led her to educate teachers, parents, and caregivers on the critical effects of childhood trauma on learning and development. She lovingly refers to this mission as her "calling."
Dr. Presley is also an integral member of the Optimal Assessments team. Drawing on her extensive expertise in school psychology, she plays a key role in assisting with comprehensive evaluations to identify learning differences and other developmental or educational challenges. She also assists the team in providing valuable recommendations for individualized accommodations, evidence-based interventions, and practical strategies that support student growth, success, and overall achievement.
In addition to her work with children, Dr. Presley is dedicated to empowering adults through trauma-aware techniques. Drawing from her own experiences and her desire to aid adults in their healing journeys, she became a Board Certified Integrative Neurosomatic Practitioner. She holds certifications in Transformational Life Coaching, Evolved Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Quantum Time Release™ from Avalon Empowerment.
Dr. Presley’s expertise is further enriched by her certification in anger management, her training in Integrative Attachment Family Therapy, and her certification as an art therapy practitioner. Her holistic approach to trauma and her dedication to empowering women and children make her a transformative force in her field.

• Counseling for school-aged children and college students for challenges such as:- Anxiety, adolescent issues, emotional regulation, social skills, school avoidance, grief, ADHD, executive functioning.
• Listening Therapies for children and adults for:- Emotional and behavioral regulation; learning and developmental differences; executive function, memory, and communication; sensory motor challenges; chronic stress and fatigue; and sleep challenges.

Outside her professional life, Dr. Presley is a devoted mother, grandmother, and dog-mom.
