Kira earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Family and Child Sciences, from Florida State University. She completed her master’s curriculum internship with Michelle Donley, LCSW, and as a registered mental health counselor intern, she is being supervised by Lindsay Harrison, LMHC at The Costello Center. Kira is also trained in professional supervised visitation services for families in need of supervised visitation with their children. She is able to offer individual, one to one supervision for families and can help facilitate healthy interactions between children and their parents.

Kira believes in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients and offering them different ways to view their issues. Kira has had experience working with young children, couples, families, and individuals with many needs. In her free time, Kira enjoys spending time with her family and her foxhound named Biscuit. She is also an avid gardener who loves the outdoors.
