Gabrielle has a passion for helping others, earning two Master’s Degrees in the space
of social service. She earned her first Master’s degree from USF in Applied Behavior Analysis and her second Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University with a major in Psychology and minor in Child Development. She has spent the past five years working with families and children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, learning differences and behavioral challenges, as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Gabrielle completed her student internships at The Costello Center, under the supervision of Jennifer Lagergren, LMHC, and at John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Callie Gilchrest, PhD. She continues to be under the supervision of Jennifer Lagergren, LMHC while serving clients and our community as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern.

In addition to the above services, Gabrielle also works directly with parents to support
them in navigating challenges that may arise in parenting. Through her work as a
BCBA, Gabrielle has worked extensively with parents in understanding their children’s
needs through supportive coaching in behavioral regulation. With her knowledge and experience, Gabrielle will be offering a parent counseling program to help parents build and teach coping and regulation skills for the children based on their individual needs and the needs of the family.
Influenced by a sibling with autism, Gabrielle specializes in working with individuals with
ASD, as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities. She believes in providing each of her clients a safe, secure, and respectful environment so they can communicate with trust and authenticity.
