Bri earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. Bri also received her certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. Bri completed her student internships for her Master’s Degree at St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center providing crisis stabilization services and at The Costello Center supervised by Dr. Karmen Smith, PhD, LMHC-S, CRC. Bri continues to be under the supervision of Dr. Smith as she completes her registered mental health counselor internship hours in pursuit of licensure. Bri has worked with a variety of age groups struggling with a variety of different challenges.

Bri values the importance of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe, welcoming, accepting space for all clients that fosters collaboration and growth. Bri believes that the client is the expert in the room and her role is to provide guidance and support on their healing journey. When working with children, Bri prioritizes parental involvement and believes her role is to support not only the child but also the family as a whole. 

 Bri loves animals, enjoys spending her free time with her pets, and volunteering at local animal rescues.
