Kim Hughes earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida. She has a Masters of Education Degree (M.E.d) in Counseling and Guidance (K-12) and a Specialist Degree (Ed.S) in Mental Health Counseling. Both graduate degrees earned from The University of Florida. Kim is a certified Guidance Counselor for grades K-12 in Florida, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC).
Kim has worked in a variety of counseling and teaching settings including agency mental health, multiple private practices, prevention and treatment centers, non profit organizations and within a variety of school settings in Texas and Florida including The International Baccalaureate Program in Pinellas County. She has advanced training in Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice and Family Mediation. Kim is also a Guardian Ad Litem and a Licensed Mental Health Supervisor in the state of Florida.
