James Pham

James Pham earned his Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology and in Mathematics from the University of South Florida.  James has a combined total of over ten years of experience tutoring students with Pinellas County Schools with the AVID program and privately with home schooling.  His mastery of math reaches up into Statistics and Calculus.  He enjoys building students’ foundations in math along with their confidence in school as a whole.  He is more than willing to travel for in-home or on campus tutoring if a student needs assistance. James has a very adaptive tutoring style that meets each student where ever they are in their road to mastery.

James also holds his A+ and Network+ IT Certifications from CompTIA and is planning on obtaining more in the future. James is an avid indoor volleyball player (outside hitter) who plays an average of 3 nights a week.  Additionally, he dabbles into computer programming and plays a lot of videogames to keep his mind sharp.  He believes that mathematics is a very technical topic and experience with other technical tasks can help fortify one's abilities not just in mathematics, but in all aspects of life.
